Using the horns on the man-animal was an aspect which grew out of the necessity to complete the composition. It satisfied me. Horns balanced the sculpture but also portrays the 'Tokolosh' in African culture. It is a perfect fusion between mythical, spiritual and reality that creates an ethos.
